The Team

Katie takes pride in building personal relationships with her patients while customizing their oral health care needs. Since 2019, she has been an essential part of our team, where she uses her expertise as a hygienist to provide each patient with the appropriate cleaning. Graduating from the dental hygiene program at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, NC in 2018, Katie has been equipped with the knowledge and skills to educate patients on the causes and prevention of gingivitis and periodontal disease. Katie's career path as a dental hygienist was driven by her desire to make a positive impact on patients' oral health and overall well-being. She finds great joy in educating patients and providing them with the best possible care.

In her personal life, Katie recently tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Kevin. Both natives of the Granite Falls, NC area, they made a significant milestone by purchasing their first home together in the Charlotte area in 2021. Their active lifestyle is complemented by their energetic two-year-old Airedale terrier named Monty, who keeps them busy with daily walks and playtime with other furry friends. Katie enjoys spending quality time with her family in the mountains, exploring new restaurants in Charlotte, cooking, attending Charlotte FC games, and satisfying her wanderlust with recent travels.

Jovana, affectionately known as Ana, excels at providing exceptional phone etiquette to ensure a smooth and comfortable scheduling process for patients. With a keen eye for detail, she efficiently manages the office schedule, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Ana embarked on her journey in the dental field in 2022, joining the office as a valuable member of the team. Her education in the dental field began at NC Dental U Academy of Dental Assisting in 2021, where she honed her skills and passion for patient care. Ana’s favorite aspect of her job is the opportunity to communicate with patients daily, embracing each interaction as a chance to learn and grow.

Beyond her professional life, Ana enjoys road trips and traveling during her leisure time. Being bilingual, she values the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. As a detail-oriented individual, she approaches all aspects of her life with precision. Embracing the fall season with enthusiasm, Ana celebrates her birthday in September. She relishes cold weather and, of course, enjoys a delightful cup of coffee.

Linda plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our dental office. Since 2017, she has been an integral part of the team, taking charge of various crucial tasks that keep the office running efficiently. Linda's responsibilities include organizing lab cases, managing inventory, and ordering dental materials. Moreover, she excels in handling partials and dentures, taking impressions, and making necessary adjustments to ensure patients receive the best care possible. Linda's journey in the dental field began in 2005 in her home country, El Salvador, where she practiced as a dentist. After meeting her husband, who resided in Charlotte, they decided to make the move together. To continue her career in dentistry, Linda obtained her CDA license, and she aspires to return to dental school to pursue her US dental degree. Beyond her passion for dentistry, Linda finds immense joy in being in direct contact with patients and fulfilling their dental needs. Witnessing the satisfaction on their faces after a successful treatment or adjustment brings her great fulfillment.

Linda is a devoted mother of two children, Jude and Fabiola, aged three and nine respectively. When she's not at work, she proudly embraces her role as a Dance Mom, as her daughter Fabiola is part of a competitive dance team. Linda's creative side shines as she designs and stones new costumes for dance competitions. Soccer is another cherished family interest, with the entire household being avid fans of Charlotte FC. They relish the opportunity to attend matches together and share in the excitement of the sport.

Jillian has a wealth of experience and a passion for ensuring optimal patient care. With a background rooted in the dental field since 2014, she embarked on her journey at Lake Norman Dental Assisting School and swiftly found her niche. Since joining this office in 2016, Jillian has been the driving force behind harmonizing the needs of doctors, staff, and patients. Her role encompasses a multifaceted approach, from expertly handling patient accounts and offering flexible payment options to meticulously overseeing the schedule, all while building relationships with patients and fostering a warm and family-like atmosphere.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Jillian is a proud wife and mother to a son and daughter who are both avid sports enthusiasts. Her weekends are often filled with cheering on her daughter's competitive cheer team, an activity that has become a source of travel and camaraderie for the family.
